Our Commitment to Privacy
HabitPop is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your habit data is personal, and it should stay that way. This policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost none) and how we handle it.
🛡️ Your habit data never leaves your device. We don't have servers. We can't see your habits.
Information We Collect
HabitPop collects the minimal information necessary to function:
- Habit Data: Your habits, streaks, and completion logs are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your phone.
- Notification Preferences: We request permission to send you reminders. Your notification settings are managed by iOS and stored on your device.
- Purchase Information: If you purchase Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We only receive a confirmation that you have an active purchase—no payment details, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Health or fitness data from HealthKit
- Contacts, photos, or any other device data
Data Storage & Security
All your data is stored locally on your device:
- No Cloud Sync: We don't upload your data anywhere. If you delete the app, your data is gone.
- No Accounts: There's no login, no account creation, no passwords to remember.
- Device Security: Your data is protected by your device's built-in security (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode).
Purchases & Payments
HabitPop offers an optional one-time Premium purchase:
- Lifetime Premium: $4.99 (one-time purchase)
All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, store, or have access to your payment information.
Third-Party Services
HabitPop uses the following Apple services:
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): To deliver habit reminders
- StoreKit: To process in-app purchases
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children's Privacy
HabitPop does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we'll post the new version here with an updated date. For significant changes, we may notify you through the app.
